Bursary Program Eligibility Criteria: In order to be eligible for the bursary award, it is essential for candidates to meet certain requirements. The primary requirement is that candidates must be enrolled in degree programs in education. This ensures that the bursary program supports individuals who have a strong commitment to pursuing a career in the field of education.
Additionally, candidates must be full-time students at any higher institution of learning. This requirement ensures that the bursary program benefits those who are fully dedicated to their academic pursuits and are actively engaged in their studies.
Program Eligibility Requirements: This program is open to all eligible candidates, including pupils with physical disabilities. It is important to note that there are certain requirements that must be met in order to qualify for this program.
Firstly, applicants must be in their first year of study or above. This means that only students who have completed at least one year of their academic program are eligible to apply.
Furthermore, it is crucial to understand that applicants who are already on a scholarship of any kind are NOT eligible to apply for this program. This is to ensure that the program benefits those who have not yet received any form of financial assistance.
FSBN Scholarship Application Requirements
Applicants who are interested in pursuing Postgraduate programs or studies must meet certain eligibility criteria. One of the key requirements is a minimum of Second Class Honours Division. This ensures that candidates have demonstrated a satisfactory level of academic achievement in their undergraduate studies.
Moreover, it is important to highlight that only prospective candidates who are registered as Full-Time students in recognized higher institutions of learning are eligible to apply for this program. This requirement ensures that applicants are fully committed to their studies and have the necessary time and dedication to pursue a postgraduate program successfully.
All applicants, including those pursuing undergraduate (UG), Higher National Diploma (HND), and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) qualifications, are required to be registered as full-time students at Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, and Colleges of Education. Furthermore, applicants must have completed their first year of study and be in their second year or above.
All undergraduate scholarship applicants are required to meet certain academic criteria in order to be eligible for consideration. One of the key requirements is to have a 4.0 Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) on a 5-point scale, or a 5.0 on a 7-point scale, or its equivalent. This ensures that applicants have maintained a consistently high level of academic performance throughout their undergraduate studies.
In addition to this general requirement, there are specific criteria for applicants who possess an All Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) or a Higher National Diploma (HND). These applicants must have a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a scale of 4.0. The scholarship program aims to reward and support outstanding academic achievement, and the CGPA criteria serve as a measure of an applicant’s academic excellence.
